“But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope: The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” ‭‭Lamentations‬ ‭3:21-23‬ ‭ESV‬‬⁣

His mercies are new every morning! Thank God! Do you ever feel like you’ve used up all of the mercy by 10am and the rest of the day you’re just hanging on by a thread? ⁣

God says His mercy never comes to an end and it's new every morning. He never runs out of showing His mercy, but we run out of living from that place of awareness of His mercy! ⁣

Have you ever pulled a loose thread and the whole thing just starts to unravel? That's what happens when I face a difficult day, I can pull on that thread of worry, anxiety, or just the demands of the day and before you know it I'm hanging by a thread. ⁣

This is a promise that God gives us for everyday, His mercy is new and never ending! ⁣

I pray today that we recognize Your mercies and that we live from the place of how good and compassionate You are towards us. Whatever this day holds I know that I have the mercy of the Almighty. His steadfast love for me never ends!!⁣
