With me

For most of my life, I felt lonely.⁣
I was married, I had children and I had a very busy life...but somehow I still felt alone. ⁣

And then my marriage began to fail and the feelings of loneliness grew. Living in a loveless marriage with no relationship, no conversation, no acknowledgement and no intimacy, I felt as if I didn’t exist. ⁣

In the Bible it says ,”God will never leave you”...so if God is always with us then why do we feel alone? ⁣
⁣
When I’d hit rock bottom, I found myself on the couch seeking God. Although I “knew” God, I really didn’t have a relationship with Him. The more I read the Word, prayed, cried out for help, studied scripture; I found my emotions and feelings were changing, I didn’t feel alone! I was not alone and my circumstances were acknowledged by His presence and promises. I was discovering a relationship with Jesus and true intimacy with God. I had never known this depth of friendship and for the first time I felt that God was actually WITH ME. ⁣

If you are lonely today, know that God is waiting for a relationship and an intimacy with you. I’m so thankful that I spent time getting to know Him because He healed me and He healed my marriage. ⁣

God created us for intimacy with Him. I pray that you open your heart and mind to the only relationship that will be THE relationship that fulfills all your hearts desires. ⁣
